* Controller: Custom built smoothieboard
The spindle motor controller has been replaced with an RS speed controller.

The DC output from the spindle controller is fed to a Yaskawa contactor configured to control forward or reverse motion. The contactor is mechanically and electrically configured to prevent simultaneous forward and reverse. The DC motor output is fed from the contactor to the spindle motor with a large 10mH inductor in series, presumably to compensate for the low inductance of the motor.
=== Spindle ===
