SZM7045TR Binocular Inspection Microscope

Introduction[edit]

Binocular inspection microscope

The manual for this microscope can be found here. This is a 7 - 45x binocular inspection microscope, with CCD camera that can display to one of the screens for group use. The microscope has focus and zoom controls; the eyepieces can be adjusted for width and have diopter correction settings for people who usually wear glasses. It is fitted with a ring LED light which has its own power supply, switch and brightness control knob. To use the camera, pull the thin silver rod away from the body of the microscope, this diverts the left-hand eyepiece to the camera port. The camera has a power button on the top, and outputs an HDMI signal. The microscope is kept in the main room, upstairs at rLab, usually on the long bench between the A3 printer and the PCs

After use ensure the light and camera are switched off and replace the dust cover.
