The CNC milling machine has a maximum travel of 240mm x 130mm and a vertical travel of 130mm, the spindle is speed controlled from 0-3000rpm. It's suitable for use with Aluminium, Brass, Mild steel (with caution), stainless steel (very, very slowly) and most Plastics. The Boxford mill requires [[tools/boxford/induction|induction]] before you can use it as it is a complex and challenging to use tool.
