I'm working on making a light fixture for my hallway that's based on test-tubes which are lit using Neopixels, the idea is that the light will go down the tube and then glow out the bottom of the tube where it's rounded over. Still not sure if this will actually work visually but the initial engineering study indicates that it should work mechanically and electrically and not be too expensive.

First render of concept

I'm working on making a light fixture for my hallway that's based on test-tubes which are lit using Neopixels, the idea is that the light will go down the tube and then glow out the bottom of the tube where it's rounded over.
