Decade Boxes
Introduction[edit]
These provide very accurate resistance and capacitance values for testing and prototyping.
They live on the electronics benches, usually on the shelves above one of the benches.
The user manual for the resistance box is here and the capacitance box is here.
Care must be taken not to exceed the maximum ratings for these boxes : 50v for the Capacitance box and between 0.5A and 3uA for the Resistance box. Check the user manuals for the exact ranges available.
