Hi,

I'm Steve and I'm a director of rLab and I'm also running this wiki to provide information for people at rLab to refer to. I mostly work downstairs at rLab and I specialize in the metalworking tools, but I also have extensive experience in very high voltage electronic systems. I provide inductions on all of the metalworking kit at the lab, as well as some of the woodworking equipment and the laser cutter. I also run several workshops to help people get familiar with some of the equipment here, including use of the metal lathe, the forge, and the CNC milling machine. I sell some of the stuff I make at rLab on my Etsy store

Recently I've been focusing on working with the forge to improve my own skills and to teach basic knife making using traditional blacksmithing techniques. So far over 30 people have taken part in these workshops and made a very wide variety of items.

I can provide the following services to members in exchange for small fee, help on my own projects, or teaching me something I'm interested in.
